Step Up. Take Your Shot.
Think you can beat the coach?
Go ahead.
Just know… there’s a wall waiting if you don’t.
Most places teach you how to throw.
We let you prove it.
The Axepert Challenge is exactly what it sounds like — a head-to-head axe throwing showdown against one of our coaches. No tricks. No pressure. Just a chance to step up, have some fun, and see how you stack up.
Some people come for a casual night out.
Others walk in looking for a challenge.
Either way… we’re ready. Are you?
It’s part of one of the most unique axe throwing experiences in Southern New Hampshire—and one you won’t forget.
How the Axepert Challenge Works:
- You challenge one of our coaches (within your reservation time)
- We set up a quick 10 throw head-to-head match
- You throw. They throw. Best score wins
- The crowd usually gets involved (fair warning)
- Winner Gets some swag (hat or shirt) and major bragging rights
- Loser makes the Wall of Shame and the Website in our Pain in the Axe costume
Win or Lose… It Gets Interesting
If you win:
👉 You walk away with Axe Play bragging rights (and usually some gear to prove it)
If you lose:
👉 You’re not walking away quietly
We snap a Polaroid, throw you in something ridiculous, and add you to the Wall of Shame — a collection of legends who stepped up and took their shot
And honestly? Most people end up loving that part just as much as the win
Why We Do It
Axe throwing is fun. But what makes it memorable is what happens around it.
The Axepert Challenge isn’t about winning or losing — it’s about the moment your group rallies, starts talking trash, starts laughing, and suddenly everyone’s involved.
That’s the difference between just throwing axes… and actually having a night you’ll talk about later.
